Monthly Memories: Because Your Life Deserves to Be Remembered Offline Too

There’s a page in the Tap Into It journal that feels especially personal to me.

Not aesthetic. Not trendy. Personal.

It’s the Monthly Memories page.

And it exists because, back in 2020, I left social media completely and deleted every account I had.

At first, it felt freeing. Quiet. Grounding.

But then a question started bothering me more than I expected:

“How am I going to remember the good times?”

Instagram used to be my memory bank.

Birthdays. Random Sundays. Little wins. Soft moments.

It was my feed, my archive, my proof that life was happening.

Without it… I realized something important:If I didn’t intentionally capture my memories, they’d blur together.

So I started doing something simple, I started adding memory pages to my journal after reviewing each month.

That’s how Monthly Memories was born.

What Is the Monthly Memories Page?

The Monthly Memories page is a gentle space in your journal where you get to pause and ask:

What actually mattered this month?

Not everything. Not the chaos.Just the moments that made you smile, feel proud, feel alive.

It’s not about perfection or performance. It’s about keeping your memories for you — not for an algorithm.

Three Ways to Use the Monthly Memories Page

Because we all document life differently, Tap Into It gives you two flexible options to make this page your own.

1. Write It Out ✍🏽

You can simply write:

  • Moments you loved

  • Wins you’re proud of

  • Places you went

  • Feelings you want to remember

  • Food you tried

This option is perfect if you love words, reflection, and letting memory live through emotion rather than images.

  1. Canva Memory Page (Free Template) 🖨️✨

This one’s for the creatives and the busy girls.

We created a free Canva template so you can:

  • Upload your monthly photos

  • Add a short description/title and the date

  • Print the page

  • Glue it straight into your journal

No pressure. No overthinking.

Just a clean, beautiful way to archive your life intentionally.

Why This Page Matters More Than You Think

We live in a world where memories disappear into phones, clouds, and forgotten folders.

The Monthly Memories page says:

  • Slow down.

  • This mattered.

  • Your life is worth remembering offline.

It’s proof that joy doesn’t need to be posted to be real. That your memories don’t need likes to be meaningful.

And one day, when you flip back through your journal, you won’t just see what you did…

You’ll remember who you were becoming.

This Is Your Life. Keep the Receipts 🤍

The Monthly Memories page isn’t about nostalgia.

It’s about presence.

About choosing to remember your life as it happens in a way that feels aligned, grounded, and yours.

No big routines.

No pressure to document everything.

Just one intentional pause each month.

Because you deserve to remember the good times, even when no one else is watching.

✨ Tap into it. Always. ✨
